Simultaneous Interpreting in a Booth

This type of work requires not only a perfect command of French and Portuguese, but also a high level of concentration, adaptability, and analytical skill.

As a conference interpreter, I work from an equipped soundproof booth which enables me to interpret speeches from French into Portuguese and vice versa in real-time.

Consecutive Interpreting

This service is commonly used for small group meetings. I sit alongside the speaker, listen carefully, and take notes using a specialised technique. I then interpret what has just been said into the target language, sentence by sentence, ensuring that the meaning is accurately conveyed to all participants

Online Interpreting – Remote Simultaneous Interpreting (RSI)

This type of interpreting is delivered via specialised videoconferencing platforms such as Zoom or Webex. Once the system has been set up, I join the meeting as the interpreter, while participants log in as usual and select their preferred language. This allows speakers,  listeners, and interpreters to participate in meetings or conferences online, regardless of location or language.

Whispered Interpreting

Whispered interpreting is a form of simultaneous interpreting. Instead of working in a booth, I sit or stand next to one or two people and quietly whisper into their ear what is being said by speakers.
